Announcement: budapi is officially live with web creation and API model access

budapi officially launched at 5:00 PM on May 29, 2026. You can now create directly on the website with AI Image and AI Video, or create an API key and call budapi image and video models through the Open API from your own product, business system, or automation workflow.

What is now available

  • The web creation entry points are live for image generation, video generation, reference organization, and result management.
  • API Keys and Open API documentation are live so developers can create tasks, query status, and subscribe to task updates based on the model documentation.
  • Pricing, Model Pricing, and Credit pages explain plans, model costs, and credit usage for both website usage and API calls.

How to start now

  • Creators can start from AI Video or AI Image to validate ad materials, product showcases, social content, and brand visuals.
  • Developers can start from API Keys and API Documentation to connect image or video generation to backends, toolchains, or third-party applications.
  • Teams can validate results on the website first, then move stable workflows into API integration with less repeated setup.

Changelog: budapi foundation is complete for both web creation and API model access

The current budapi release brings the main product pages, web creation entries, API key management, Open API documentation, asset management, favorites, subscription, credits, authentication, and settings into one connected experience. This version is no longer just a concept preview: users can create directly on the website, and developers can create API keys to call budapi image and video models from their own products or services.

What is included in this release

  • Home, AI Image, AI Video, Favorites, Assets, Pricing, Model Pricing, Subscription, Credit, Settings, API Keys, and Open API documentation now form a complete navigation loop.
  • Web creation entries are organized around image generation, video generation, references, generation history, and reusable assets for creators who work directly inside budapi.
  • Developer entries are organized around API keys, open task creation, model parameters, task queries, and task update subscriptions for teams integrating budapi models externally.

Copy and information architecture updates

  • The help FAQ now explains how to create on the website, how to integrate through API keys, how to choose image and video models, how credits work, and how results are managed.
  • The updates page now works as a durable changelog for product completeness, web experience, API capabilities, and model changes.
  • Older website-only copy has been rewritten into a clearer two-entry explanation so users do not miss API key based model access.

Use cases ready for validation

If you need short video material, campaign visuals, product images, social content, or brand ideas, you can start directly from AI Video or AI Image. If you need to embed generation into your own product, create an API key, call the open model APIs, and track results through task query or subscription endpoints.

Announcement: budapi supports video creation through both the website and API access

budapi now treats AI video generation as one of its core model capabilities and supports two ways to use it: users can create images and videos directly on the website, while developers can create API keys and call budapi models from their own products.

Current product position

  • The web app provides AI Video and AI Image for short clips, campaign visuals, product storytelling, and everyday creative work.
  • The Open API provides image and video model access for automation, internal tools, backend workflows, and third-party applications.
  • Favorites, Assets, API Keys, and Open API documentation support both creator result management and developer integration.

Why this matters for users

  • Creators do not need to jump across a stack of disconnected tools to finish one piece of content.
  • Developers do not need to integrate several model providers separately; they can call budapi models through one API surface.
  • The product supports real output both for direct web creation and for system-level batch or automated creation.

What this version solves

This version brings web creation, model pricing, credit usage, API key management, and Open API documentation into one product structure so both hands-on creation and API-based task tracking are easier to understand.

Changelog: homepage, help, and updates now explain the product more clearly

We refreshed the main copy for users and developers so the product value is easier to understand: budapi is both a ready-to-use AI image and video creation website and an open creation platform where developers can use API keys to call supported models.

What is easier to understand now

  • The homepage now explains how AI Video, AI Image, API Keys, Favorites, and Assets fit into the product.
  • The help page now answers what users and developers care about most, including how to start on the website, how to integrate through API, and how saved results can be reused.
  • The updates page now records web experience, Open API, model capabilities, and important changes in a clearer way.

What experience this improves

  • New users can decide faster whether to start from the web workspace or from API Keys and API documentation.
  • Pricing, credit, and model cost information is easier to locate when comparing plans or estimating API usage.
  • Returning users get a clearer path back to saved inspiration, generated results, and external task tracking.

Where this fits best

If you create social content, ad materials, ecommerce visuals, brand storytelling, or everyday creative proposals, you can work directly on the website. If you are building product integrations, batch generation, or automated content pipelines, you can call budapi models through API keys.
